Goof Holtzer

Goof Holtzer (1958) is your contact for Power Plants and Waste Incineration as well as Plant Operation issues.  His creativity and deep understanding of process and mechanical engineering is at your disposal to support and guide your engineering team.

He graduated from the Technical High School of Amsterdam with a Shell scholarship. He started his carrier as a Nautical Officer at Shell Tankers BV in 1980. After that, he has held different positions within Stork Boilers (later split and renamed to Stork Energy Services and Stork Thermeq).

• He was part of the R&D Department of Stork Boilers, participating in a joined project with TNO and Technical University of Twente on Fluidized Bed Combustion Boilers.
• From 1990 he was responsible for turn-key international power projects from pre-quotation phase through commissioning. Some of the countries he was most active in where Singapore, Indonesia, UK and Caribbean area.
• In 2000 he joined the Service Department, where he was highly involved in the global 24/7 service. During this period he guided customers, timely solving unplanned situations. Projects and modifications included industrial to super-critical utility boilers.
